Bijan Robinson Pre-Season Player Profile

As the 2022 football season approaches, Longhorns Wire will review every scholarship player listed on the Texas roster.

During pre-season, each profile will cover where the player is from, how recruiting websites rated them out of high school and what role they will play for Steve Sarkisian this season.

We’ll kick off with the top returning offensive threat, running back Bijan Robinson, entering his third year on the program. After being used sparingly as a freshman until the end of the season, the Arizona native has shown his worth as a leader under Sark in 2021.

Depth Chart Preview

After the injury suffered against Iowa State, Bijan Robinson is ready to roll again in 2022. As we head into spring football, he’s the No. 1 running back on the depth chart. It’s for good reason, he was the top rusher in each of his two seasons at Forty Acres.

Texas will once again have a great punch with Robinson and Roschon Johnson atop the depth chart two deep at running back. They also have former Alabama transfer Keilan Robinson, who can be explosive on offense as a receiver and runner. Newcomer Jaydon Blue and Jonathan Brooks will face off for RB4.
