Carnival Cruise Line HUB App Surpasses 10 Million Downloads, Adds New Casino Feature
Carnival Cruise Line has announced that its popular HUB app has reached a record 10 million downloads in its history and will soon add casino functionality.
The cruise line’s product team noted a significant increase in app usage on every ship in 2022, with more than 90% of cabins having at least one guest improving their experience with the mobile option.
Several new features have been added to streamline the app, including food and drink ordering functionality, spa booking capabilities, virtual queue for onboard venues, and important health and Security.
The HUB app also offers a comprehensive list of all activities, entertainment, and food and beverage options.
“We created the HUB app to help our customers get the most out of their cruises, and after more than ten million downloads, it’s clear our customers find it useful,” said Alfredo Rojas, senior director of Carnival. . “The growth we’re seeing in the popularity of the HUB app parallels the improvements we’ve implemented.”
Carnival also unveiled a new section of the HUB app that will integrate casino features and functions for each ship. Once launched fleet-wide, the casino section of the app will allow customers to track their bank of points and players, learn about special casino events happening throughout their cruise and find other useful information.
Earlier this week, Carnival revealed recent updates regarding the company’s priority check-in options, price increases for select dining options and new food waste initiatives.
