Maybe we need to silence the cousin who insists on saying the Ohio State University, or appease Cincinnati’s sister-in-law who is fed up with the college on Interstate 71 being overlooked.

Perhaps there is the brother who is certain, just as some of his fellow fans have been almost every season since the Reagan administration, that it is the year of Georgia, or the aunt who went to Texas but who needs to remember that there are other (and, this season, much better) Big 12 Conference teams.

The end of college football’s regular season rarely brings out the best in all of us, so when’s the best time to consider conflicting opinions and revisionist history than at Thanksgiving?

It’s largely up to you to figure out the other arguments of the holidays – the mashed potatoes, however, are definitely better than the sweet – but here’s a cheat sheet for the top teams in the college football playoff standings.

Add a few free jabs to the Atlantic Coast and Pac-12 conferences, neither of which have a team in the playoff hunt, and that should be enough to get you to dessert.

All Eastern hours.

At Georgia Tech (3-8) on Saturday. (noon on ABC)

During the early years of coach Kirby Smart’s tenure in Athens, loyal Georgians sometimes questioned whether the school had chosen the right person to lead the Bulldogs. Fans in Alabama, who had followed Smart’s long apprenticeship under Nick Saban, advised patience.

These concerns have faded considerably this season. With the best defense in the country – Georgia allowed an average of 7.5 points and about 236 yards per game – any offensive shortcomings were easy to ignore. Again this week, Nakobe Dean, a junior who has recorded seven tackles for losses and 4.5 sacks this season, was named a finalist for the Butkus Award, given to the game’s top linebacker.

The Bulldogs haven’t won a national title since the 1980 season. But the team had back-to-back shutouts in the Southeastern Conference game this season, a feat they haven’t achieved since that race. in the championship.

At Michigan’s No.5 (10-1) on Saturday. (noon on Fox)

The game is back in style.

A year after the pandemic forced the cancellation of one of the sport’s most legendary rivalries, the Ohio State grudge match against Michigan, a trip to the Big Ten Conference championship game will be in. Saturday game in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Buckeyes have moved past early worries of this season: Although Ohio State lost by a home touchdown to Oregon, which Utah destroyed on Saturday night to drop the Ducks to No.11 from No.3 , Coach Ryan Day’s team humiliated Purdue and, over the weekend, a then-No. 7 State of Michigan.

Quarterback CJ Stroud is a Heisman Trophy contender, largely because he completed over 71% of his passes and threw 36 touchdowns while leading the best offense in the country.

The Buckeyes are averaging nearly 560 yards per game, 30.6 yards ahead of second-place Pittsburgh.

At Auburn (6-5) on Saturday. (3:30 p.m. on CBS)

It usually doesn’t make sense to count Crimson Tide out of any national title conversation. Still, Alabama, which routed Ohio state last season to win the championship, has looked uncomfortable at times this fall.

There were some big wins – it’s Alabama, after all – but also a loss at Texas A&M and one touchdown fumble against better-than-usual Arkansas and absolutely catastrophic Louisiana. And an Iron Bowl date in Auburn is no picnic.

But sophomore quarterback Bryce Young, also seen as a contender for Heisman, has Alabama’s offense averaging nearly 502 yards and Saban’s defense, including linebacker Will Anderson Jr. , is the second best in the SEC.

At East Carolina (7-4) on Friday. (3:30 p.m. on ABC)

No team in a Group of 5 league has ever reached the playoffs. Cincinnati, a member of the American Athletic Conference, might just do it. An iconic 24-13 victory at Notre Dame, which is now ranked sixth, certainly helped.

On Friday in East Carolina, Desmond Ridder will struggle to replicate his performance against Southern Methodist over the weekend, when he completed 17 of his 23 passes, registering 274 yards and three touchdowns.

He also ran for a score and caught a touchdown pass. Yes really.

Hosts Ohio State No.2 (10-1) on Saturday. (noon on Fox)

Outside of Cincinnati, there might not have been a bigger debate around this season’s playoff standings than what to do with Michigan.

The Wolverines barely lost at Michigan State on Oct. 30, but quickly found themselves ranked ahead of the Spartans because the playoff committee deemed Michigan “a more complete team.”

And Michigan is indeed very good: No. 9 in the country in all-out defense, No. 23 in all-out attack and fueled by an offensive line that has been the stingiest in the country to allow tackles for loss. Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo, who share the Big Ten lead in overall sack count with 10 apiece, are Michigan’s first-ever duo to rack up double-digit sack counts in a season.

Ohio State, however, is by far the biggest test of the season for the Wolverines, who have earned just one win this season against a team that is still in the playoff standings. Michigan has only beaten Ohio state twice since 2001, most recently in 2011.

At Stanford (3-8) on Saturday. (8 p.m. on Fox)

Three of Notre Dame’s wins were 3 points, so it was surprising that the Fighting Irish set a 10-1 record. Thank a strong defense that allowed just 9 points in three November games.

Isaiah Foskey, a defensive lineman, is responsible for 10 of Notre Dame’s 38 sacks, and the team has 21 takeaways this season. And there have been plenty of goals from the defense, who have managed multiple touchdowns in two games this season. (The Notre Dame defense has actually dominated entire opposing teams, 12-9, this month.)

Tight end Michael Mayer stays busy when the offense is on the field and caught 55 passes for 663 yards, while fullback Kyren Williams ran for 928 more.

Oklahoma (10-1) hosts Saturday. (7:30 p.m. on ABC)

The Cowboys just posted the best defensive performance of coach Mike Gundy in 17 seasons at the helm – Oklahoma State conceded just 108 total yards at Texas Tech on Saturday – but they are close to meeting. Oklahoma, the Big 12’s most significant offensive.

Not that Oklahoma State’s offense is lackluster: In their last four games, the Cowboys have averaged about 482 yards and 41 points. Their offense is among the most balanced in the Big 12, but Tay Martin has collected at least 100 receiving yards in four games this season.

Saturday’s slate will decide Oklahoma State’s opponent in the Big 12 title tilt next weekend. If Oklahoma wins, the Sooners and Cowboys will meet in Arlington, Texas. If Oklahoma loses and No. 8 Baylor overtakes Texas Tech, the Cowboys will face the Baylor team they beat by 10 points in October.

Hosts Texas Tech (6-5) on Saturday. (noon on FS1)

While Dave Aranda is a defensive-minded coach – he was Louisiana State’s defensive coordinator when the Tigers won the 2019 national championship – Baylor’s offense is gaining more yards per game than any. another Big 12 team. The Bears favor the rush, running over 400 rushing plays this season and scooping up nearly six yards per attempt.

The rushing attack star was not in Baylor’s backfield in 2020; he was nowhere on the offensive side of the ball, in fact. But Abram Smith, who made four linebacker starts last season, leads the team this year with 1,249 rushing yards.

The Bears haven’t won a Big 12 title since 2014. However, they could play one next weekend.

At Mississippi State (7-4) Thursday. (7:30 p.m. on ESPN)

Ten-win seasons don’t happen very often in Oxford: Mississippi is aiming for its third since 1972 and its first 10-win regular season.

The first college football team known to have been 100% vaccinated against the coronavirus fell in Alabama and Auburn, but Mississippi also beat Arkansas and Texas A&M with the SEC’s most prolific violation by footage.

Matt Corral, the Mississippi junior pushing to win the Heisman, is one of three quarterbacks in the Football Bowl division who threw at least 15 touchdowns and rushed for 10 or more. Braylon Sanders was a favorite target, averaging 22.1 yards per reception, the SEC’s best.

Thursday’s Egg Bowl will test the Mississippi defense, as Mississippi State and coach Mike Leach execute an airstrike attack that leads the SEC through the passing yards.

At Oklahoma State No.7 (10-1) on Saturday. (7:30 p.m. on ABC)

The only Big 12 program to ever make it to the playoffs, Oklahoma will head to their rival clash in Stillwater focused on simply winning the conference championship game.

It has been a strange road to 10 wins. The Sooners outlasted Tulane, 40-35, to open the season. The following week, Oklahoma scored 76 and held West Carolina at zero. Then came some close wins over teams like Kansas State and West Virginia. But Oklahoma didn’t lose until Nov. 13 at Baylor.

Spencer Rattler, a preseason American, lost his starting quarterback in mid-October. His replacement, Caleb Williams, threw for 1,418 yards and 15 touchdowns. Despite the turmoil, Oklahoma mustered the Big 12’s most points-rich offense, unsurprisingly under coach Lincoln Riley, who is considered one of the best offensive players in the country.

The Sooners will visit Oklahoma state with some confidence as they are on a six-game winning streak against the Cowboys.

LeBron James suspension prediction: History suggests 2-3 games for a closed punch on Isaiah Stewart https://juegoskizifriv.net/lebron-james-suspension-prediction-history-suggests-2-3-games-for-a-closed-punch-on-isaiah-stewart/ Mon, 22 Nov 2021 02:02:00 +0000 https://juegoskizifriv.net/lebron-james-suspension-prediction-history-suggests-2-3-games-for-a-closed-punch-on-isaiah-stewart/ No one needs to remind anyone that the most horrific brawl in NBA history took place in Detroit. No one needs to remind anyone that the most horrific brawl in NBA history took place in Detroit. The infamous “Malice at the Palace” was back in 2004, and on Sunday night we could have been dangerously close to a similar scene on the pitch.

It happened in the third quarter of the Lakers-Pistons game. Jerami Grant was shooting a free throw, and as Detroit’s LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart battled for the rebound position, LeBron took a wild blow, with a clenched fist, back, connecting with Stewart’s face in what is almost impossible to consider as anything other than an intentional and hostile act.

Your turn to judge :

Here’s a slightly different angle:

It was the start of a scene that quickly began to escalate. Stewart and LeBron had to be separated, and from there Stewart, with his face now covered in blood, essentially lost his mind, trying to make his way through anyone and everyone to reach James.

He even tried to break free through the tunnel, with the Lakers bench being warned to watch Stewart coming out the other side.

Once they showed the video of the punch on the big screen, fans inside the arena started to get obviously agitated. The AP announcer urged everyone to stay in their places as memories of the “palace malevolence” began to cross everyone’s minds. It could easily have gotten out of hand. Thanks to everyone who didn’t let this happen.

When the dust settled, LeBron was rated a Flagrant-2 and kicked out of the game. Stewart, who was charged with a free ball foul, received two technical fouls for his reaction and was also ejected. Russell Westbrook also received a technical foul.

We’re clearly going to hear a lot more about it. Stewart and James will almost certainly face suspensions. But let’s not lose sight of what caused this. It was LeBron’s deliberate punch. Again, it’s impossible to watch this video and think that something other than LeBron deliberately threw Stewart around with a closed fist.

You can chat about whether he intended to punch him in the face, but that doesn’t really matter. He swung with intention. He rocked high. And he absolutely smoked Stewart, and his reaction – while also not acceptable and deserving of a full-blown suspension – was certainly understandable.

How long will LeBron’s suspension be? Based on the previous ones, my best guess would be two to three games, and I would go for both. You can at least say that LeBron didn’t really intend to punch Stewart in the face (although I’m not sure what he thought was going to happen so high up in that proximity), while in the brawl 2018 Rockets-Lakers (video below), Brandon Ingram, who got a four-game suspension, and Rajon Rondo, who got three, both threw clearly intentional punches in the face.

The most comparable recent example is that of JR Smith who was suspended two games for making a similar throwback and connecting to Jae Crowder’s face in the 2015 playoffs.

The Gents (1-1) will play at 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. Sunday against host Millsaps or Huntingdon College. The consolation match is set for 4 p.m. with the championship between the two winners on Saturday at 6 p.m. ETBU are 0-1 on the season following a loss to St. Thomas at home on Nov. 11 at home, 64-54. The Gents and Tigers meet for the first time since December 9, 2019, when the Tigers claimed an 85-69 victory in Marshall, TX. Centenary received votes in the D3Hoops.com preseason poll last month and is one of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference favorites this season.

Centenary lost their first game of the season, 62-46, to the Louisiana Christian University Wildcats on Tuesday night in a non-conference game in Pineville, Louisiana, as the Gents were on the road for the first time this season. The Maroon and White recorded a season-opener 87-77 victory over the Arlington Baptist University Patriots on November 9 at home, then lost 86-69 to LSUS on November 11 in an exhibition competition at the Gold Dome.

Centenary was led on Tuesday by junior F Seth Thomas (Kilgore, TX), senior F Jarrell Taylor (Leesville, Louisiana) and junior G Ralph Johnson (New Iberia, Louisiana) who each scored eight points. Thomas had seven rebounds, a team record, had three interceptions and had one assist and one blocked shot. He also went 4-4 from the free throw line and played 24 minutes.

Taylor shot 4-10 from the floor in 19 minutes off the bench and grabbed five rebounds while Johnson played 29 minutes and tallied three assists, three steals and two rebounds. Senior G Kile Mingo (Cypress, TX) added five points in 23 minutes as he was 1-4 off the floor, 1-2 from beyond the arc and made his two free throw attempts. He had three rebounds and a pair of interceptions.

Sophomore G Braeden Board (Rayne, Louisiana) played 24 minutes and scored two runs with four rebounds and one steal. Senior G Tevin Baker (Port Arthur, TX) made his first start of the season and scored four points in 18 minutes as he made 2-3 attempts from the ground and caught two rebounds, tallied two assists and had two interceptions. Junior G Jalen Behr (Athens, GA) scored five points in 17 points off the bench and went 2-5 from the floor, treyed and blocked a shot. Senior G AJ Hall (Thibodaux, Louisiana) played 22 minutes and scored four points making 2-3 FG attempts. He added two rebounds and a steal.

Centenary struggled offensively, shooting just 26.1% for the game from the floor as the Gents made just 18 of their 69 shot attempts and made just two three-pointers in 21 attempts, but the Gents forced 24 turnovers and made 12 interceptions and only converted the ball more than 12 times.

The Wildcats took a 32-19 halftime lead after shooting an impressive 48.3 percent from the ground and picking up 26 rebounds. The game went back and forth for the first 10 minutes of the first half as the teams traded baskets and stayed within a point or two of each other. A pair of free throws from Thomas reduced the Wildcats’ lead to 13-12 at 10:02, but the next 10 seconds belonged to the home side as LCU finished the half on a 19-7 streak. .

A three-point shot from Mingo reduced the deficit to just six at 32-26 at the 16:24 mark of the second half, but the Gents scored just four more points in the next seven and a half minutes. and the Wildcats finished 13 points ahead at 9:34 after a Kae’ron Baker trey made it 43-30. Centenary would get the single-digit lead several times down the stretch by the Wildcats who managed to wrap up the win.

The Wildcats finished with a slight advantage on points in the paint (28-26) and on the bench (25-19). The Gents scored 19 points on turnovers while LCU had 15. The aggressive Gents recorded 16 second chance points to just five for the home team and Centenary had seven quick break points while the Wildcats n ‘had only two.

Taylor is the Gents’ leading scorer so far this season, averaging 12.5 points per game, while six others are averaging at least 6.5 points per game. Board is second on the team at 9.5 PPG. Taylor, Thomas and Board are all tied for the team lead in rebounds per game at 5.0 / game. Board scored a career-high 17 points in the Gents’ season-opener 87-77 victory over Arlington Baptist University as he scored 10 points in the first half when he was perfect (3-3) on a three-point range and finished the game with six rebounds, three steals and an assist. He played 28 minutes and finished 6-9 on floor, including 4-5 from beyond the arc. Board scored six points (6-6 from the free throw line) in 25 minutes against LSUS and added rebounds, four steals, an assist and a block. Taylor and Baker face their former team on Saturday, each having previously played for the Tigers.

Centenary will end the University of Mississippi Road Trip for Women on Tuesday, November 23 in Columbus, Mississippi, at 2 p.m. The Gents’ next home game is Tuesday, November 30 against Millsaps at 6 p.m. ET.

After dropping her season opener with Boston College, the Harvard women’s basketball turned to a pair of weekend competitions to give coach Kathy Delaney-Smith the first win for his 40th and final season at the helm of the Crimson program. Although Harvard lost a hard-contested road game to the University of Massachusetts on Friday 80-71, the Crimson – playing at the Lavietes Pavilion for the first time in 20 months – won dominantly over Northern Illinois (NIU) on Sunday. 70 -53.

HARVARD 71, MASSACHUSETTS 80

Harvard (0-2) started their fight on Friday afternoon with rival Massachusetts State (2-0) boasting of their depth and three-point shooting ability. At the start of the fourth quarter, the Crimson were leading 57-54 and had connected in 10 of 22 three-point attempts. However, a late run from the Minutewomen and Harvard’s colder shot from the depths opened the doors to Massachusetts’ 80-71 victory. Coach Delaney-Smith returned to his starting four-guard roster, led by second-year guard Lola Mullaney, who finished with 14 points, five rebounds and four three-pointers from the field.

In this back-and-forth affair, Delaney-Smith turned to a pair of newcomers, second-year forward Lindsey Lawson and first-year goaltender Elena Rodriguez, for key minutes on the bench. Junior guard Annie Stritzel made some big contributions as well, but it was junior guard McKenzie Forbes’ season debut off the bench that left a big mark on this game. Forbes, a rookie and All-American transfer from McDonald’s in California to Berkeley, finished his first performance for Crimson with 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Although she only shot six of 19 from the field, Forbes’ playing skills and natural ability to score the ball excited Delaney-Smith.

“[Forbes’s] the skill set is undeniable, ”said Delaney-Smith. “She has a fabulous skill set and she has a great IQ on the court. Again, she was one of the [incoming players] that was ruled out and missed some practices that I think would have been very helpful to him. So to be able to come back after being sidelined and make an impact for us in the UMass game [and] in [Sunday’s game] is just a sign from the future, that she is just going to get better and better. I’m looking to bounce her a bit more for us and keep playing the defense she’s capable of which is high IQ defense.

While losing in a road battle was not the outcome Harvard sought to enter on Friday night, the Crimson gained from Amherst a better sense of his rotation and identity as a team.

“We’re very deep and very talented,” said Delaney-Smith. “Unfortunately, just before our opener, we were hit by injuries that sidelined many [Harvard’s newcomers], and that’s a bit of a shame because they’re all newcomers, and the offensive system is new. We are still working on who we are [and] what is our offensive identity.

“We wasted a lot of precious time playing together and just connecting with each other,” continued Delaney-Smith. “They’re all back now, but they haven’t practiced. So it was great to see them able to connect without a lot of training under their belt, and I think that connection is just going to get stronger and stronger.

HARVARD 70, NORTH OF ILLINOIS 53

Playing under the lights of the Lavietes Pavilion for the first time since Feb. 29, 2020, the Crimson (1-2) put on an utterly impressive performance against the Northern Illinois Huskies (1-1) to win, 70-53 .

The first-half story was Harvard’s defensive length that blocked the Huskies’ offense leading to ineffective shots (northern Illinois shot six of 29 before half-time) , turnovers and quick break opportunities for the Crimson offense.

“We were not without error [on the defensive end], which we will never be, ”said Delaney-Smith. “But I think a lot of my team got attached to the defensive scout, with some breakdowns in the fourth quarter. [Our] the length bothered their leader. […] Starting with [first-year guard] Harmoni Turner, everyone who turned to her did a great job. I am quite satisfied with our defensive effort.

After a promising start to the season on Friday, junior guard McKenzie Forbes made his first start in a Crimson uniform in Sunday’s competition. Coach Delaney-Smith teamed up Forbes alongside four other guards – Turner, sophomore Lola Mullaney, junior Maggie McCarthy and senior captain Tess Sussman – to form an athletic and quick start lineup. After Harvard took a 13-point halftime lead, Forbes recorded nine straight points to start the second half and keep Crimson’s double-digit advantage.

“I think [the lineup of Forbes, Turner, Mullaney, McCarthy, and Sussman] all can shoot at all three, and many of them can attack at all three levels. This number 25 for northern Illinois [A’Jah Davis] is generally much more of an indoor presence. I think we just played the defense that I wanted and maybe took [Davis] on his heels a little earlier and got him in trouble. It really helped us. There is not a real five players [in this lineup], and we’re very small, but I love our teamwork, and I love that we deal, for the most part, with the big ones in the paint. So it’s a work in progress for us to be honest with you.

In addition to Forbes’ solid play, Harvard’s offense was led by McCarthy’s highly efficient 16-point performance on 75 percent of shots on goal, including four of his five three-pointers. The Massachusetts native offers a stable presence and leadership to an inexperienced Crimson team, as she saw some important minutes in their 2018-19 freshman campaign before becoming an entry into the 2019-20 Harvard team.

“[McCarthy is] our rock. It is our foundation. She has calm and leadership [ability] on the pitch that really helps us connect all of our new and young players. The problem with that is that we don’t put her in the marker positions as much as we want. So I think the intention to get her to score a bit more is something we’re trying to do. It was great to see her finally get more pics than I want her to get.

McCarthy, Forbes and the Crimson return to the field this Friday at 7 p.m. as they travel to Piscataway, NJ, to face Rutgers (3-1).

After Kedon Slovis gave USC a slow start to Saturday night’s game at Arizona State, Donte Williams put Jaxson Dart into the roster. Dart led a drive early in the second quarter. He took a hit on a quarterback and struggled to find receivers with Drake London out of the lineup.

Whether you approve of the move or hate it – there’s a legitimate argument to be made in favor of playing it or putting it on the bench – the point is that Dart is playing his third game this season.

Given the adjustment to the Red Shirts rules a few years ago, which allowed players to play four games without burning a red shirt, Dart now only has one game he can play without using his shirt. Red.

With the arrival of a new head coach, there is a thought process that says Dart – the QB of the future at USC – deserves to have as much time as possible under this new coach, instead of ‘wear his red shirt in an injury season. (also a season in which Dart did not think of playing so much behind Slovis).

The counterpoint is that Dart needs some clichés and learning experiences, and if he plays five or six games this season, that’s okay. He probably wouldn’t play three seasons after this one at USC. If he thrives over his next two seasons under the guidance of the new coaching staff, he would appear to be set to make the 2024 NFL Draft without having to play a senior season.

Red Shirt season gives him and USC flexibility, but Dart may not need that extra season. If he gets three years at USC, including two with the new staff, that might be all he needs to be NFL ready.

If Dart plays Cal next week, it’s likely the Trojans will give Dart as many games as possible, but we’re not going to guarantee anything – at least not until Dart plays his fifth game this season.

It’s still two games away after Saturday night at Tempe.

At the 2021 CrossFit Games, thirty-three athletes competed under the Mayhem Athlete banner in all divisions, by far the most training camps, and a record for the Cookeville-based training facility. During the offseason, they took strategic steps to strengthen the roster even further, adding five individual athletes, three of whom finished in the top 10 in 2021.

Who is new on the list:

  • Panchik saxon – 5th
  • Guilherme Malheiros – 7th
  • Lazar Dukic – 9th
  • Agustin Richelme – Argentinian national champion, finished 32nd
  • Piero Gorichon – Chilean National Champion, 10th in the Brazilian CrossFit Championship
  • Individual athletes already on the list: Alex Vigneault, Royce Dunne, Samuel Cournoyer, Alexandre Caron, Aleksandar Ilin, Stas Solodov, Haley Adams, Baylee Rayl, Jessica Griffith and Sasha Nievas.

A great thing: Mayhem has quietly emerged as the powerful training center for the most elite CrossFit athletes, far exceeding the number of competitors in other camps with the potential to field more than 40 athletes at the 2022 Games in all divisions.

  • It all happened over the course of two seasons when they went from trying to field two super teams at the 2019 Games to winning the Affiliates Cup in 2020 and fielding a full roster of top contenders.
  • It just shows how quickly trends change and evolve in the elite landscape.

A closer look at the five newcomers:

  • Saxon panchik: With the official decision to integrate Facundo Etchecolatz as Main Programmer of Mayhem Athlete, some of the athletes he previously coached are now under the Mayhem umbrella. At the top of that list is the 5th fittest man in the world, Saxon Panchik, and it’s clear their relationship has resulted in a great performance so far. Perhaps it was this relationship and the subsequent results that encouraged others to want to follow suit and enter with the Mayhem team. Saxon now has four consecutive Games appearances and has just set a career-best 5th place record, improving on his previous best of 9th in 2019.
  • Guilherme Malheiros: Malheiros was right at the top of the list after this summer’s Games of athletes everyone was talking about. His performance at the Games was obviously fantastic, taking seventh place overall; but it was emphatically reinforced by three impressive victories in the event. When asked about the decision-making process, Malheiros was succinct and clear in his response: “If you want to be a shark, you have to swim with sharks”. Malheiros confirmed his performance at the Games last weekend at the Rogue Invitational (where he took 5th place), including securing two more wins (over the Bella complex and the duel).
  • Lazar dukic: The ninth Lazar Dukic completes the trio of top ten men who are now lined up with the Mayhem crew. The fittest five-time man from Serbia has been preparing for this kind of success for a few years now. Declining his invitation in 2019, he preferred to wait until he really felt ready to be competitive at the Games to attend. He did it this year and, as a result, reaped the rewards of his performance in the form of new opportunities, one of which was with Mayhem. “I wanted to start working with Mayhem and Facundo as a coach because Mayhem only attracts and invites the best in the sport into their circle. They have so much experience with the Games and all the competitions that can be of use to me. I’ve known Facundo since 2019, when I won a competition he and Mayhem organized. He has contacted me to check in several times since then so we won’t need a lot of time to get to know each other either. As with Saxon and Gui, Lazar competed last weekend at Rogue (and made his official Instagram announcement of his roster with Team Mayhem).
  • National Champions of South America Agustin Richelme (Argentina) and Piero Gorichon (Chile) have also teamed up with Facundo and the Mayhem group of athletes, adding to the pedigree they will have ahead of the 2022 season.

The big picture: Rich Froning and the Mayhem Empire are thriving in a variety of fields, including agriculture, coffee, nascar, and hosting international competitions, but they are also taking a big step in 2021 and heading into 2022 to brag. also on the most prolific list of male athletes. . Add it to the list of things going on in Cookeville, TN.
