Rebooted ‘Tomb Raider’ Trilogy Still Free on the Epic Games Store

There is still time to recover the reboot Grave robber completely free trilogy on the Epic Games Store.

Until January 6, it is possible to collect all three Grave robber games from the Epic Games Store, for the grand price of… nothing. These are also the definitive editions of all three games, which means gamers are getting their money’s worth here.

The deal includes the game of the year edition of Tomb Raider (2013), Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 20 years, and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. With each of these definitive releases, that also means bonus graves, outfits, weapons, and more.

The first two games were developed by Crystal Dynamics while the third was produced by Eidos-Montreal.

The games chronicle Lara Croft’s origins and show how she became the classic heroine we’ve seen in other games. They also offer a much more grounded take on the character, with Croft often being a bit more vulnerable.

All three games are available for free on the Epic Games Store until 4 p.m. UK time on January 6. It is also possible to add them to your account without downloading them, in order to save much needed disk space. It is worth taking them back for the future.

Earlier this year, footage of what the 2013 reboot might have looked like was shared online. The images suggest that the reboot was originally intended to be more of a survival horror game than what it turned out to be in the end.

In other gaming news, Sega revealed that Sonic borders was due out in 2021, but it has been pushed back to ensure its high quality.
