The Cargus mobile app has over 300,000 downloads and an average monthly growth rate of over 50%

The Cargus Mobile application has reached a new record of interest and use in the messaging market in Romania: in the first eight months of its launch, it was downloaded 300,000 times from Google Play and the App Store. Moreover, the average monthly increase in the number of downloads was more than 50%, with November and December 2021 being the best performing months, driven by contextual events such as Black Friday and winter holidays.

The Cargus Mobile application offers users the possibility to send parcels quickly, to follow the status of a parcel, but also to direct the purchased products to another destination, becoming in a short time a tool very appreciated by customers. . Over 60,000 users accessed the app at least once in the past 30 days, up 15% from the previous period, and 95% of them used all available features – sending, parcel tracking, parcel forwarding. The most popular feature is receiving automatic notifications with each delivery status update from the moment the package is handed over to the courier.

The Cargus Mobile app is a useful tool for customers who want to track order status, but also for individuals who send packages frequently – 30% of packages shipped are done through the app.

At the top of the application’s most used options are: sending and tracking parcels, redirecting them to another destination and rating the courier. Moreover, in order to keep the delivery dynamic and flexible, Cargus Mobile offers users several possibilities to manage the delivery process, via the app:

  • All Cargus deliveries are visible in the Cargus Mobile app and their status can be tracked;
  • Update of delivery location or delivery date;
  • With just one click, the user can modify the place of delivery/collection; the parcel can be redirected to a SHIP&GO point, from where it can be picked up within 3 working days;
  • Payment for parcel delivery can be made by card, but also by PaybyLink at SHIP&GO points.

Most users of the Cargus Mobile application come from Bucharest (45%) and Cluj-Napoca (17%), followed by those from Timisoara (8.6%), Iasi (7.8%) and Brasov (6 .8%).

Cargus Mobile has been voted “Best courier company app”, at the Romanian Courier & Postal Services Business Awards 2021, and its place at the top of the ranking is further confirmation of its usefulness and effectiveness for the mobile market.
