The Catholic community of the Holy Family (Inverness) invites everyone to join them on an exciting and enriching spiritual journey which will begin on November 7th. Called “Adventures in Grace: A Pilgrimage,” the program is free and open to anyone who wants to explore and deepen their faith.

Through a series of regularly scheduled Masses, shared Wednesday evening “adventures” filled with chants, rituals, evocative presentations and periodic “pauses”, participants will explore ways to define and deepen their faith, from both individually and collectively. The journey will deepen the gifts of grace and sacramentality as they are experienced in everyday life.

“This unique adventure is the result of planning and our staff responding to a need for spiritual renewal in our community and beyond. A pandemic has brought challenges such as separation and anxiety, ”the father said. Terry Keehan, pastor at Holy Family. “Amid anti-religious sentiment, challenges of the world church, political divisions, increased violence, racial tensions and many secular forces, I think we would all agree that we need to increase our awareness of the grace that can come as we become more aware of it and seek out what it has to offer in these turbulent times. “

People can join “Adventures in Grace: A Pilgrimage” anytime and can participate in person, online through live sessions and periodic Zoom gatherings. The program will culminate on Pentecost 2022 with a grand final “Homecoming” celebration.

Participants are encouraged to bring family and friends on the trip, and special modules and activities will be offered for children, adolescents and young adults. In addition, specially trained “Grace Guides” will accompany participants throughout the course, providing them with ongoing support, information and inspiration.
