Wild adventures await at Audubon Zoo Summer Camp

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Audubon Summer Camp offers young nature enthusiasts a unique camp experience filled with exciting science investigations, zoo explorations, special animal experiences, art and entertainment. nature-themed crafts and activities.

The summer camp is open to children from 4 to 13 years old. Campers will enjoy the zoo as a playground as they learn about wildlife and habitats and how people can work together to positively impact them. This year, Zoo Krewe campers, ages 11-13, will also participate in field trips and hands-on service activities.

“Summer camp at the Audubon Zoo is filled with fun and meaningful experiences that connect campers with nature and show how to have a positive impact on the world around us,” said the director of education at ‘Audubon, Llewellyn Everage. “Campers will discover how their individual actions help the natural world and how we can all work together to protect the animals and habitats we love.”
